Summer is the season of exciting events and fun festivals. Over the weekend, our own Bill Seymour mixed American history with local brews at the Washington Crossing BrewFest held on the banks of the Delaware River in Yardley, PA.
It was here that George Washington’s militia began its now-famous trek across the Delaware and on to Trenton, New Jersey, during the Revolutionary War.
Volunteers hosted the popular BrewFest (which was sold out for the third time!) at the Washington Crossing Historic Park, and all event proceeds went towards preserving the beautiful park.
Bill especially enjoyed experiencing muskets firing and even a photo-op with militiamen!
