The Etix Event Discovery Network is a backend feature specifically designed for venues to provide only the details necessary to get your event info in front of fans and nothing more. Your data is still your data.

Our goal is to partner with as many local and national event aggregators, streaming, and artist discovery platforms as possible. In 2024, we will launch specialized city landing pages on etix.com that will be search-engine optimized for discovery. We will also begin to explore customized retargeting campaigns to return lost ticket buyers back into the purchase process for increased conversion and customer retention.

So far, we have partnered with Bandsintown, Songkick, SoundCloud, and Jambase. Through their partners, your events will be available on Spotify, Shazam, Pandora, Apple Maps, Alexa, and more. We have also added local aggregator DC Music Live (Washington, D.C.) and are working to add more partners, including additional local event aggregators in the coming months.

Yes. To join the Etix Event Discovery Network, all tickets sold online will be charged an additional fee per ticket sold online. This fee will be rolled into your regular Etix fee and will not be segmented out to the customer.
Etix is charging an extra fee to help offset costs associated with the program. These costs include service commissions for tickets sold through EDN partner platforms (like Bandsintown, Jambase, Songkick, etc.), tracking and reporting services paid to a trusted third-party reporting service, and other advertising costs associated with the program.
No. Etix is proud to maintain our values around data privacy in this new program.
Not yet, but soon! Reporting analytics for the Event Discovery Network are coming in 2024. In the meantime, you can request a manual report though your Etix Sales Rep on a monthly basis.
Because of the Etix integration, your shows will be ‘officially’ sourced into partner platforms and available for listing and emails, however, Etix has no control over which events are promoted by the platforms via email or other means.

So You're in the Event Discovery Network, Now What?
Welcome to the Event Discovery Network! Now that you’ve published your event created in Etix, your event will automatically be pushed to participating music streaming and concert aggregation sites. To ensure your event gets the best visibility and matches accurately on our partner sites, follow these tips when creating your events in Etix:
Utilize the Performer Database
When building performances, use the Performer Database. This helps our EDN partners match your events more effectively with artist pages on their platforms, ensuring greater accuracy and visibility.
Limit the Performance Name to the Artist's Name only
Keep it simple. Ensure the performance name only includes the artist's name. This makes it easier for our partners to match your event with their artist pages.
Use the Presenter Display Option for Additional Details
If you need to add more details, use the Presenter display option. Avoid cluttering the performance name with extra information; it should remain clean and focused solely on the artist.
Set Performance Listing to "Public"
Make sure your performance listing is set to "public." Private events will not be distributed through the EDN.
