Each year, we take our Etix University curriculum on the road with Etix Live! Our carefully curated workshops allow users of all levels to increase their system understanding with feature-focused ticketing and marketing classes, networking opportunities, and one-on-one meetings with Etix staff.

WHAT IS ETIX LIVE?

Etix Live empowers Box Office Managers, Marketers, Financial Managers, and Venue Managers with actionable steps to stay competitive and current in an ever-changing entertainment industry.

You don’t have to be team Box Office to benefit from Etix Live!  We bring marketing gurus and financial whizzes and so should you.

  • Engage your venue-specific questions with an Etix instructor during Learning Lab.
  • Attend box office classes focusing on venue setup, performance creation, reporting, and day-of-show tasks.  Also, learn about new features and improvements.
  • Join marketing classes focused on the event life cycle, maximizing your advertising dollars, the new Google Analytics GA4, and more.

HOTEL INFORMATION

There are a limited number of rooms secured for a discounted rate of $299 at the Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

UPDATE: The Etix Room Block at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and our overflow resort Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have SOLD OUT for Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6. There are still rooms available within the block on all other nights. Please note while Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is on Disney property, the conference sessions will take place within Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you still need a hotel room, email training(at)etix(dot)com and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Rooms must be reserved by Friday, May 3, 2024.
  • Rooms are available for check-in starting June 4 and check-out on June 8.
  • In addition to the base cost, any guests over 18 will be an additional $35 per person per night.
  • The group rate is also available three days before and after the Etix Live event dates, based on availability.
  • The guest rate includes complimentary Internet access, health club admission, and self-parking.

ETIX LIVE 2024 SESSION SCHEDULE

Day 1: Wednesday, June 5

Location: Room 1

Let’s get oriented to Etix. We’ll take you on a dashboard tour and review the landing pages you’ll experience. On our way, let’s define the different levels in the Etix system and review the buying links you can access based on the experience or product(s) you want to sell.

Location: Room 2

Let’s get acquainted with the Full Season, Mixed Fixed, Flex, and Flex with Group Packages and their capabilities. We’ll also describe use scenarios for each package type and show you both online and box office purchase processes.

Are you utilizing all the various email tools that Etix has available within the system? Take a step in the right direction, and leave feeling confident that you are using all our system email capabilities!

There are certain decisions and settings to put in place across your Venue before you start building your Performances. During this class, we’ll work through this checklist, such as how your patrons can cart their tickets, how you are delivering your tickets, and more.

Now that you’re familiar with the different types of packages, let’s create a few together!

Did you know that the Etix system has both analytics and CRM tools? In this session, we’ll take a deep dive through the Etix Analytics suite and Etix Community. Leave feeling confident that you’re utilizing all of the data at your disposal to enhance your digital marketing efforts.

In this class, we’ll cover creating your user accounts and granting profile-based permissions. Granting the correct permissions for each profile will enable users to perform role-specific functions within the system
Location: Room 2
Discover Account Manager, the Etix customer portal that allows patrons to manage their tickets, memberships, and donations directly from their online account. Each patron can log into their account to make payments, request exchanges, and send tickets to their friends.

If it feels like marketing has gotten harder recently, you’re not alone! New privacy standards and changing state laws have greatly limited how advertising platforms (like Facebook and Google) track and target users. This, in turn, makes ads and reporting in these platforms less effective than they were just a few short years ago. This session faces our new advertising reality head on and offers up new insights and real-world strategies to increase your marketing effectiveness and ultimately increase the number of tickets you sell each year.

You can create your Etix performances from scratch or copy from a template performance. We’ll share the information that copies from Event A to Event B and then get started. Let’s build together!
Location: Room 2
During Part 1 learn how to create payment plans, enable auto pay, and reserve orders both online and in venue pos. Additionally, we’ll review these orders in account manager and discover how to apply partial and full payments.
Location: Room 3
Audience data can be gathered from a variety of sources: past ticket buyers, pixels, and more. Make sure you’re set up for tracking success so you can put all of the data at your fingertips to work!

Now that your Performance Details are set, let’s add your price codes, their price points, and schedule where they’re available. We’ll finish what we started.

During Part 2, we’ll edit reserved orders with or without a payment plan, work through the renewal process and then wrap up with reporting for reserved orders and payment plans.

The past couple of years have posed an interesting challenge for marketers. Learn about Apple iOS privacy changes & the lasting impact it has had on digital marketing as we know it.

Event Series and Timed Entry allow you to tie multiple performances or time slots together. This class covers all details associated with these features including setup, the online patron experience, and reviewing reports.

Discuss key ticketing and event topics with your peers and exchange ideas on best practices in this free-form series of table sessions.

Day 2: Thursday, June 6

You’ve built your performance. Let’s take a look at additional features you can opt to layer on top of the required components. We’ll start with price code passwords, assigning inventory, and applying order fees, to name a few.

Looking to offer your visitors membership options? Maybe there are different membership levels with correlating benefits. During this overview, we’ll review the Membership feature and its capabilities.

Email marketing continues to be a driving force in ticket sales. Join the Rockhouse team to learn tips and strategies to make the most of your email marketing efforts.

Location: Room 2 Now that we’ve gained an understanding of the Membership feature let’s work through the membership creation process together. We’ll also practice assigning ticket limits, purchasing a membership and using the membership for ticket benefits.

It’s pretty simple: People love free stuff! Learn when and how to employ a successful contesting strategy that turns your patrons into forever fans.

During this class, we’ll cover the inventory management tools at your disposal for both General Admission and Reserved Performances. Let’s look at placing holds, opening inventory, and removing seats.
Location: Room 2 This class will cover a selection of Accounting and Seller Balancing Reports from the Organization to Performance Levels. We’ll review some of the most commonly used reports such as the Ticket Sales Report and Box Office Report as well as how to use these reports to complement each other.
Location: Room 3 Join the Rockhouse team as they share how to put together effective Google campaigns that are sure to boost your ROI. We will walk you through the process from start to finish – planning, execution, and reporting at the completion of your campaigns.

During this class we’ll teach you all about SeatSuite, the newest select-a-seat experience. Learn how to create a new seat map and manage inventory along with some tips and tricks from our training team.

During this class, we’ll take a thorough look at the two selling screens at your disposal and the various transactions that could occur. Then we’ll touch on all settings that impact your sales screen experience.

Did you know there are two ways to offer discounted tickets to your patrons? In this class, we’ll compare and contrast Discount Codes and Offer Codes to discover which option works best for your business.

Selling a ticket is one thing. After the sale is made and the tickets in possession of the patron, there are several things that could go awry. During this class, you’ll be resourced to locate patron orders and perform any action on the order to set things aright!
Location: Room 2
Buy X Get Y and Price Code Dependency both give your patrons the option to cart a reward or dependent ticket in contingency with the required ticket in the cart. During this class, will discuss the similarities and differences between these two features and scenarios for their use.

Getting comfortable with managing orders? We’ll dive into the remaining order management tools you should have in your belt: Refunds, Exchanges, Reclasses, and Batch Printing.
