Day 1: Tuesday, February 11

Welcome to Etix Live 2025!
In this class, we’ll cover creating your user accounts and granting profile-based permissions. Granting the correct permissions for each profile will enable users to perform role-specific functions within the system. Ready, Set, Role Call.
Donations can be collected separately of ticket purchases online or in the box office. Patrons can donate to a campaign, opt into a recurring donation, or round up their total in the ticket purchase process. During this class, we’ll introduce you to the donation capabilies and show you how to create donations. Then we’ll look at reports that include donation transactions.
In this introductory session, we’ll cover the essential marketing concepts you need to promote successful concerts and events. Whether you’re new to marketing or looking for a refresher, this session is designed to provide a solid foundation for both marketers and non-marketers alike. You’ll learn key marketing vocabulary, understand the core components of an effective marketing strategy, and discover how these principles apply specifically to event promotion. By the end of the session, you’ll feel confident using marketing terminology and equipped with the tools to start planning your next event with a strong marketing focus.
You can create your Etix performances from scratch or copy from a template performance. We’ll share the information that copies from Event A to Event B and then get started. Let’s build together!
Let’s get acquainted with the Full Season, Mixed Fixed, Flex, and Flex with Group Packages and their capabilities. We’ll also describe use scenarios for each package type and show you both online and box office purchase processes.

The rumors are true; we do have two different seating chart user experiences: Legacy and SeatSuite. During Part 1, we’ll introduce you to them both. Then we’ll show you how to assign a seating chart to a performance and hold, open, and kill seats using both Legacy and SeatSuite tools.

During Part 1 learn how to create payment plans, enable auto pay, and reserve orders both online and in venue pos. Additionally, we’ll review these orders in account manager and discover how to apply partial and full payments.
Learn all about Hive, an email marketing platform built for event marketers—like you! Powered by your Etix ticket data, you can segment email, automation, and SMS campaigns to send to the right customers at the right time.
During Part 2, we’ll show you how to update price levels, add seat & section notes, and more using both Legacy & SeatSuite tools. Then we’ll review several seat status reports and finish by taking a quick look at SeatSuite seating chart builder features.

During Part 2, we’ll edit reserved orders with or without a payment plan, work through the renewal process and then wrap up with reporting for reserved orders and payment plans.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how Meta’s tools can amplify your marketing efforts, drive ticket sales, and reach new audiences. Whether you’re looking to refine your approach or start from scratch, this masterclass will provide you with the insights needed to get the most out of Meta.
Discuss key ticketing and event topics with your peers and exchange ideas on best practices in this free-form series of table sessions.
Discover Account Manager, the Etix customer portal that allows patrons to manage their tickets, memberships, and donations directly from their online account. Each patron can log into their account to make payments, request exchanges, and send tickets to their friends.
Now that we’re all Meta experts, it’s time to look outside the Meta box and round out our marketing strategies with other important platforms. In this session, we’ll dive into tools beyond Facebook and Instagram, including email marketing, SMS campaigns, Google Ads, paid search, and TikTok. You’ll learn how to leverage these tools to expand your event’s reach, engage new audiences, and drive ticket sales. From crafting compelling email content to optimizing search ads and creating viral TikTok moments, this workshop will give you the skills to diversify your event marketing strategy and achieve even greater results.

Day 2: Wednesday, February 12
Did you know there are several tools that allow you to generate or edit performances in bulk? You can also manage your inventory across performances of your choice. Swish and Flick!
During Part 1, we’ll show you the patron’s experience from membership purchase, to receiving their digital membership card, to redeeming member tickets online or in the box office. Then we’ll cover how you would search for a subscriber, read their unique subscription details page, and the different renewal options. If time allows, we’ll start to create a membership together!
Day Two kicks off with this must-attend session where we break down the nuts and bolts of building an effective marketing infrastructure for your events. You’ll learn how to set up and optimize Google Analytics to track user behavior, drop advertising pixels into your checkout for better optimized ads, and seamlessly connect your email and SMS platforms for smooth, consistent communication. Plus, we’ll dive into Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI) to supercharge your Meta ad optimization. By the end, you’ll have everything you need to measure, track, and fine-tune your marketing efforts like a pro—and drive those ticket sales through the roof!
During this class, we’ll take a thorough look at the two selling screens at your disposal and the various transactions that could occur. Then we’ll touch on all settings that impact your sales screen experience.
During Part 2, we’ll finish creating our membership. We’ll show you how to upload external data like student ids or players codes if you’re not selling a true membership, but are using this feature to allow certain patrons to redeem discounted or free tickets with an id specific to them. We’ll create member ticket limits which protect the member ticket by the member id. Then we’ll wrap up with creating a Membership Upsell and viewing Membership Reports.

In this session, we’ll delve into real-world case studies to help you diagnose the most common marketing reasons for slow sales. We will explore key concepts like the conversion funnel and web traffic sources to uncover why fans may not be responding to your marketing efforts. Learn to interpret data from Etix reporting, Google Analytics, and Meta to gain actionable insights, address problems proactively, and answer those tough questions with confidence!
Learn which reports help track ticket sales from on sale to the day of show, and how to settle with artist management.
There are several tools in Etix that allow you to present an offer to a subset of patrons, be it early access to tickets or discounted tickets. During this class, we’ll introduce you to those features, speak to the scenarios when they’d be used, and will show you how to set them up.
This class will cover a selection of Accounting and Seller Balancing Reports from the Organization to Performance Levels. We’ll review some of the most commonly used reports such as the Ticket Sales Report and Box Office Report as well as how to use these reports to complement each other.
