Say hello to Etix Scan, a new ticket-scanning application designed with updates to make scanning easier than ever for your box office and operations teams.
Etix Scan will soon become the primary scanning application for all clients, so we encourage you to transition now to Etix Scan BETA to take advantage of its new benefits and features before the end of the year. Throughout 2024, we’ll incorporate field-tested feedback to ensure this app is fine-tuned to meet your needs.
WHY SHOULD I START USING ETIX SCAN?
If you produce events, chances are you are scanning a ticket. We know that the scanning process is paramount for our clients and critical for a successful event. Etix Scan takes a giant step forward in providing a streamlined and intuitive scanning process for Etix clients using Android devices, Netbooks, and their own iOS and Android devices to scan tickets.
ONE LOOK FOR AN IDENTICAL USER EXPERIENCE
Whereas our legacy Etix Validation interface varied visually on different devices, Etix Scan provides an identical look across all devices. This means your team can jump from one device type to another using the same scanning process and rely on identical visual cues to quickly and easily identify if a ticket is valid. Information elements remain in the same places, and validation messages and audio alerts will look and sound the same, no matter the scanning device.
MORE INFO WHEN YOU NEED IT
Fast access to detailed ticket information is critical when managing your event entry. Etix Scan is designed to show the validation rule after each scan. This means the device will automatically display a date and time when the ticket can be scanned, instantly providing your staff information for better customer service.
CLONE DEVICES IN A SNAP
Setting up multiple devices has never been easier! Use Etix Scan to generate a QR code on the device you wish to clone, scan that code with a second device and Bob’s your uncle – their settings are now identical.
IMPROVED DISPLAY DURING OFFLINE MODE
Scanning tickets offline is necessary in pinch situations. With Etix Scan, you can ensure that all of your offline scans were released by viewing the Offline Scan Total and Offline Scan Released fields.
