This week, we returned from our trip to New York City for the League of Historic American Theatres’ 38th Annual Conference and Theatre Tour.
First, we’d like to give a huge round of applause to the LHAT team. This was their largest event to date, and all the programming and activities were exceptional! In case you missed our presentation:
Here are our top 5 takeaways:
1. It’s All About Email. Emails yield the highest ROI of push marketing channels. Period. Focus on building your database and crafting emails that count.
2. Design for Mobile. 30-40% of your website traffic is coming from a mobile device. Go responsive with web design, but make sure visitors can still click to call the box office.
3. The Event Life Cycle Has Changed. The life cycle of your event no longer exists from the time of the on-sale until the performance date. Maintain customer engagement and on-sale lead generation even after the curtain closes.
4. Google Yourself. It all starts with a search. Improve SEO periodically by searching for your venue and relevant search terms.
5. Get Started TODAY with a Complimentary Digital Audit!
Another huge thank you to the LHAT team. We are already looking forward to next year!
